From Pastor Robert

WHY WE'RE REBRANDING

“The urban center of Sacramento is undergoing significant change and expansion.

The downtown footprint is expected to double in size over the next two years. Our Mission stays rooted in the middle of it all, serving the least, the last, and the lost.

Understanding the times, we decided to use this changing season to rebrand UGM with a logo that identifies both our message and our location – the cross and the capital – bringing the hope of Christ to the heart of our city.

In the coming months, you’ll see our new look online and in your mailbox: a signet representing our ongoing commitment to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ in our State Capitol to those experiencing homelessness and addiction in the 21st century.

Please continue to pray for us as we continue to preach the gospel and reach the needy.”

Pastor Robert Briggs, BD, ThM, Executive Director

Give towards our gospel work

Though our logo is being updated, our mission will stay the same: reaching the urban poor with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Word of God and acts of mercy.

“I’m thankful for the Mission because it exposed me to the gospel… and wrapped their arms around me, showing me love regardless of my background. Before coming to the Mission, I was blind and trapped in my sins and addiction. Now, I’m set free. I have faith and hope, knowing that I am in Christ.”
