Give The

Mission A Lift…

(for wheelchairs)

Our chapel is being renovated, and our redesign includes a new stage where churches will gather to preach the good news, sing songs of praise, and share testimonies with our guests every night. It is our desire to install a handicap wheelchair lift so that people of all physical abilities are able to serve and proclaim God’s grace.

Will you consider donating towards our $40,000 goal to pay for this ADA compliant equipment, partnering with us to further proclaim the Gospel to those we serve?

Give Towards Our Handicap Lift

In 1967, The Union Gospel Mission purchased this property to better serve the needs of the people of Sacramento. The dining room chairs have held countless weary bodies, and the walls have echoed songs of praise and proclamations of the Gospel night after night for the past five decades.

Used 365 nights a year since 1967, our chapel and dining room haven’t been remodeled since their construction.

But now, because of our God’s provision through the faithful generosity of our partners, we are beyond excited to announce that our main buildings that feed the hungry and preach The Good News to lost souls are entering their renovation stage!

Renovations have already started on our Dining Room in phase two of our project, followed by the Chapel next door. We’ll keep the bottom of this page updated with photos as we proceed in the process!

The Mission will STAY on mission even in the midst of construction. We’ll utilize one room at a time while the remodel is underway, ensuring that not a single meal will be missed, and not a single night will pass without the declaration of the hope of the Gospel.
