An Incredible Testimony and Prayers!

An Incredible Testimony

Watch this brief video (below) of Sam, the “Jesus Saves Guy”!  His testimony is inspiring and the same as thousands of men who have come through our doors since 1962. Our cross, atop our building and at the center of our name, emboldens the same message as he proclaims, “The Good News: Jesus Saves and Jesus loves you”!  Please pray for Sam as he has received a lot of hatred when he shares on the streets.

And, for the Mission:

* Pray that the Gospel continues to be shared and Jesus saves many lives.
* Pray for God to stop the spread of COVID and to keep all those in the front lines healthy and safe.
* Pray that the homeless and poor receive proper care and living arrangements.
* Pray for our Director, Board Members, and Staff, that they continue to receive God’s power and guidance.

An Incredible Testimony

This is one of the meals that our Kitchen Supervisor, Tim Trenum, prepares to feed the homeless every night. He is an amazing chef, a great mentor to our rehabilitation program men, and they work hard cooking delicious, hearty meals that will bless our guests in a clean and safe environment. Thank you, donors, for your support to help us feed the homeless and the poor.

Sabrina Charles

Sabrina Charles, our Women’s Outreach Coordinator, has found creative ways to serve women and children during the COVID Pandemic. On Mondays she takes clothing and other items to the VOA family shelter next door and frequently works one-on-one with women who come to us for help.  Continue to pray that this virus will end and we open our Women’s Clothing Closet soon again.

Pastor Tim, the UGM Board, and Staff continue to pray for all of you as well.  Stay healthy and keep well in our Savior’s Hands!
