As a volunteer in the Union Gospel Mission Women's clothes closet, I have witnessed the amazing impact in the lives of homeless and near homeless or low-income women. The closet itself is beautiful and shows respect and the love of Jesus. The most recent experience that stands out is when a mother arrived with 7 children needing clothes and school supplies. The closet volunteers, under the leadership of Sabrina, the closet coordinator, rallied around this mother to help her shop for her children and herself. The children left with clothes, backpacks, school supplies, and some toys and books. Mom was also able to get the needed clothing. This experience reflects the joy in being part of the Union Gospel Mission. Josephine Blick

I give bibles & tracks to the homeless. I always include all the things available at Union Gospel Mission. I feel they have the best help for the homeless. And it gives them great hope to find out all they have for them. Please bless this mission & the fantastic work they do!
